JANIE'S STORY

Janie was run over and left for dead. She was found lying in a ditch on the side of the road. Pound Pals got her to the vet and made sure she got the immediate care she needed. Although Pound Pals is a rescue for senior dogs, we couldn't turn our backs on Janie's immediate need. To make matters worse, Janie had three puppies hidden in the woods. Thankfully, they were recovered but the runt, Smokie, had a staph infection in his leg joint which resulted in a series of medical bills.

Janie & her puppies needed immediate medical care, which they received. Eventually, they were all spayed/neutered and placed in loving homes. Pound Pals stepped outside their "comfort zone" and incurred thousands of dollars in medical bills helping this family. Janie is currently living her best life in her forever foster home and all three of her puppies have found homes.
